Josh & Liz
Denver, Co.
Engagement
Last week Josh, Liz and I went to a park, and because we are such lucky people the sun was shining!! It was amazing, and actually quite warm despite the snow. We walked around, found a cute little puppy, found a awesome river, and took some sweet photos. I had such a good time, and have found out that shooting in the snow is actually quite nice. (good reflector!) Anyways we had a brilliant time, I do love a good e-session! I hope you enjoy this couple as much as I enjoyed taking their photo. January 2011 they will be married in Wisconsin! Good luck to you two!
P.S. Thanks so much you all for praying for my mom and my family. We are so appreciative of it all. I am flying home (due to someone sponsoring my ticket, I get to fly into Fresno!! thank you Jesus for that) on the 27th. I'm excited to be with my family, and get to help my mom.. I will keep you all updated on the status. And again, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE, YOUR SUPPORT, AND YOUR PRAYERS!!
P.S.S. My computer crashed on Friday. I'm still in the process of getting everything running right. Part of it not running right is my Photoshop, hence the no copyright. So please, if your going take these photos and put them anywhere, can you give us a little shout out?! Thanks!
she is..
If any of you know me you know how important my mom is to me. She pretty much raised me, and I am defiantly her daughter. She has been the best mom I could ever ask for, she has encouraged me to do whatever I wanted, and told me I could be whatever I wanted to be. She has encouraged me in my relationship with God, and has been my rock and constant in my life.
It was her and I for 12 years. We were a team, we slept in the living room together, her on the couch, and me an air mattress. People thought we were crazy, but thats the way we did it. She has been my best friend, and always will be my best friend. I'm not sure how I will survive if I don't have her around, or at least a phone call away. She always has the best advice, even my high school friends would ask her for advice. My mom, she has this way with people. Its a magic power I think. No matter who the person, no matter how long they have known her, she will have you pouring out your soul and your life story and she will sit, she will listen, and she will love and care for you no matter what. She sees the inside and will love you no matter what.
I'm writing all this because we need your prayers, and we need lots of them.
I normally don't like to write my problems on the blog, but I really feel like God is asking me to do this.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer this week. She has been sick for the past few months, and we have all been worried.. although none of us expected such a big shock. They found a large star shaped tumour on her left lung, and its been tested positive for cancer. We are still learning what it is, what stage its at, and what the treatment plan is. As of now, we have found out that they think its not operable, but they want to start chemo and/or radiation as soon as possible. In two weeks we will see if it has spread.
I will be going home, to California, in a week from Saturday. I'm leaving my husband, and my "life" here. I'm scared as to what is going to happen in the next few weeks/months. I believe that God has a plan, and that he CAN heal her. I'm just asking for prayers. Kellen and I are signing a 10 month lease here in Denver, and I'm leaving and he is starting work. I'm praying that we can make rent each month, and that God will provide... (plane tickets=expensive)
So.. if you've made it through this whole blog, thank you. Thank you for caring enough about me, and my family, and please PLEASE pray for my wonderful mother!
These are photos of Kellen and my wedding. We are both so close to her, we asked her to marry us.. And here is the most amazing lady in all her glory!

Visitors!
We were lucky enough to have some visitors last weekend. Kellens brother, Jerad and his family.. Shanna and Aiden flew in from Wisconsin Thursday evening and we got to have a long weekend of fun, baby, and snowboarding! The first few days were AMAZING! It was warm, and sunny, and the last two were cold and snowy. It was a perfect mix of both. We got to go downtown and walk around, and show them what Denver has to offer. In the meantime, I got to cook my famous eggs benedict (I have mastered the skill, so if YOU come to visit, I promise to make them for you) and many other delectable delights. The boys got to go snowboarding, in apparently the best conditions of the year, and we got to go to the infamous chick fil-a for Shanna!
Thanks Perlberg family for coming and let us enjoy your love, and letting us play with the adorable baby Aiden!

A few of my favorite kiddos!
You've seen them before, and I'm sure you will see them again.
Corbin, Sophia, and Tyler. I do think they are some of the cutest kids on the planet!!!! And after these photos, I'm sure you will think so too!!!
When I was home for Christmas I picked the kids up from school. It had been cold and foggy all week, but that day it was sunny! I asked the kids if they wanted to take photos, and they actually agreed and said yes! Maybe its because it was my birthday, I dunno... but THEY WERE AMAZING! The big kids did so good, and even held hands! YEAH RIGHT 6 and 4 year old! And miss Tyler, she is the biggest model EVER!!! I love them, and couldn't ask for better nieces and nephews! ENJOY!
So, the big kids saw the Ty in the bucket and wanted a photo... this is the only one with all three looking.. hahha it just cracks me up!!!
